Washing Up Brushes under the Tap

Don’t place the paint brush upside down under running water this can cause the bristles to bend and go out of shape ruining your paint brush.

1. Firstly, remove excess paint from you brush, scrapping it back into the paint can.

2. Rinse your brush under running water, with the bristle’s pointing down.

3. Turn the brush in a circular motion on the bottom of the sink, don’t press too hard, or squash the bristles.

4. It can take between 2 – 5 minutes to clean your paint brush properly.

5. Continue to rinse your brush until there is no longer any paint on your brush, and the water runs clear.

6. BE careful not to allow water to fill the Ferrule, as this will damage your brush, leaving it unusable.
